OK,
Its father day, got a smoothie maker, kids all gone to sleep and I've just really mangled some fruit...added some ice and some coconut milk and got....errmmm not sure, the taste is ok, think I may have learnt my first smoothie lesson; here goes.
1 * Banana
1 * Apple
small amount of coconut milk
2 * very small oranges
some ice cubes
1. The look - It looked OK (drank it and forgot to photo it!) kinda peach colour
2. The taste - OK, not enough coconut, too much orange, not sure about the apple
3. The texture - smooth... but will lots of "bits" from the orange.. not sure about that.. I like smoothies to be real smooth...
So, next I'm gonna do a small test... 1 banana, some ice and some Malibu and some blue berries and have a chill out....
Then I'm gonna do another banana and coconut and blue berry one (no Malibu) for my kids for when they wake up...
If you got any better ideas then you better skype me before I get too far!

... Just finished the kids smoothie, there was still some left (of the banana,coconut and blueberry)... so I added some water (the others were too thick), some Malibu (generous amount) 2 strawberries and a few more blueberries...
Aaahhhh....bliss...

Try juicing the oranges first. Banana, raspberries and a little milk work. My fave however, is raspberries, strawberries, apple juice and natural yoghurt.
