Journey past the pools of beauty

So today was a good day (relatively) but did you know that technology hurts me... the sun was out, there was some breeze and FOUR TIMES on my journey from Rugby to Microsoft in Reading my SatNav (TomTom 300) beeped at me and told me of the presence of a sailing club less than a mile from my present location...

I went past Draycote, Banbury and a couple of ponds near Reading...GGGrrrr damn you technology getting my hopes up..instead of sailing kit I had a leather folder and a PDA..

I guess thats the problem with sailing, its not like dumping a surfboard on your roof, or a fishing rod in your boot or a bike on a rack... its a bloody great boat, sails, sailing kit, membership fees....

One day the world will change and we'll be able to just dump work and go sailing.....
